New iQ Drive® model uses inverter technology.
St. Louis, March 5, 2015 — Nortek Global HVAC introduces a new inverter-driven split-system air conditioner thatachieves 20-SEER cooling in all sizes and matches. iQ Drive® model FS4BG is powered by an inverter-driven rotary compressor for ultra-high energy efficiency and ultra-quiet operation. It’s available in 2, 3, 4 and 5 ton capacities.
The new iQ Drive air conditioner modulates from approximately 49% to 118% of capacity in five steps, making constant, small adjustments to meet the cooling demands on the home. It operates as quietly as 59 dBA.

Installation is simplified with the new iQ Drive FS4BG model. This air conditioner operates with most two-stage thermostats and does not require shielded thermostat cable.
Additionally, the FS4BG air conditioner features an all-aluminum Micro-Channel condenser coil to reduce instances of corrosion, optimize heat transfer and increase durability and reliability.
The new 20-SEER FS4BG air conditioner joins other inverter-driven iQ Drive products by Nortek Global HVAC, including the companion 19-SEER/10-HSPF FT4BG heat pump and the industry-leading 20-SEER/81%-AFUE R6GI gas/electric packaged unit.
