At up to 24.5 SEER, our iQ Drive® air conditioners and heat pumps broke the cooling efficiency ceiling. And now they’re being recognized by ENERGY STAR’s new Most Efficient designation.
The 24.5 SEER iQ Drive® air conditioner and 22 SEER iQ Drive heat pump recently received ENERGY STAR Most Efficient designations in 2011 for 2, 3 and 4 ton capacities.
Products that are recognized as the Most Efficient of ENERGY STAR in 2011 prevent greenhouse gas emissions by meeting rigorous energy efficiency performance levels set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The Most Efficient recognition will represent approximately the top 5 percent of models on the market in the following categories: clothes washers, heating and cooling equipment, televisions and refrigerator-freezers.
These models were also voted top choices by a leading consumer advocacy magazine making them overall energy savers and all-around genuine values.
