St. Louis, July 23, 2018 – Nortek Global HVAC was recognized as a bronze winner in the ventilation product category of the 15th Annual Dealer Design Awards, sponsored by The Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Heating (ACHR) NEWS magazine. Model ZQYRA is recognized for its superior control design, modulating heat pump and enthalpy wheel technology, and small footprint. It is available in the Reznor and Mammoth brands.
Hybrid model ZQYRA uses a unique heat pump and enthalpy wheel combination to condition fresh air by capturing energy from the exhaust air stream. It boasts one of the industry’s smallest DOAS footprints and is ideal for adding outdoor air ventilation in smaller spaces for new and retrofit VRF or conventional DX projects. And, unlike large capacity DOAS systems, the ZQYRA’s design offers a simplified approach with only basic options, while still outperforming larger, more expensive DOAS because of its high efficiencies – greater than 9.0 COP and greater than 17.0 EER.
The ZQYRA was selected from a pool of 98 entries by an independent panel of contractors. Winning entries were featured in the July 23, 2018 issue of The ACHR NEWS, which is distributed nationally to over 33,000 HVAC contractors, wholesalers and other industry professionals.
